History of St Hugh's College AFC
St Hugh's are one of the few colleges never to have won Cuppers, which is perhaps not surprising seeing as it only admitted its first men in 1986. Most of the intervening period has been spent in the lower reaches of the college leagues although, recently, they have started to establish themselves amongst the top echelons of college football. Second and First division championships were claimed in 2002 and 2004 respectively and St Hugh's performed well for two seasons in the top flight finishing 4th and 6th in 2005 and 2006. However the rails came off last season and they will be starting 2007/08 in the first division after finishing 2nd bottom last season - 11 points from safety.
